Beta testers required for testing multiple form support for TDO Mini Forms
I’ve (mostly) finished implementing multiple form support in TDOMF, my popular Wordpress plugin that allows users of your blog submit posts to moderation. You can see the power of multi-form support on the demo site where I’ve created several example forms to demonstrate the power of the TDOMF plugin.
However, this is a major new feature so I’m loathe to just release it as a new version without much more testing. (This new version will be 0.10). So I’m looking for a few users who are willing to beta-test this version before I release it. You can grab this beta version now from the development version on Wordpress.org. If you have any feedback, please leave it on the forums.
A lot of stuff has changed in the backend. While I have done a ”upgrade” function it may still require additional configuration of your forms after the upgrade and in some cases it may not be complete enough. Also, once you upgrade, you can’t roll back to a previous version. But I have updated the uninstall and there is now a much more comprehensive uninstall option (it deletes everything; posts submitted by TDOMF, users created by TDOMF, pages created by TDOMF, etc.).
Also included in this version are some additional fixes:
- Suppressed errors for is_dir and other file functions just in case of open_basedir settings!
- Use “get_bloginfo(’charset’)” in htmlentities in widget control. Hopefully this will finally resolve the issues with foreign lanaguage characters
- Widgets that validate know if it’s for preview or post. Certain validation should only occur at post like captcha and “who am I” info for example.
- An option (per form) to specify the max number of instances of a multi-instant widget per form
