Why don’t they use TDO Mini Forms?
I discovered Prologue yesterday which is a Wordpress Theme that turns Wordpress into a Twitter-clone. Pretty cool! They have a custom-posting interface for logged in users… which is something my TDO Mini Forms Plugin can do easily, including file uploading and previewing. Disabling moderation and it does exactly everything Prologue does… besides the very nice looking theme.
I also came across WP Content Manager which is another Wordpress theme that turns Wordpress into a Contact Manager. Requires some setup but the instructions are fairly clear. It looks excellent and I’m tempted to use it store the contacts for my family using it. However it does miss out on not having a custom-posting interface: an interface of course that TDOMF can so easily provide!
I designed and implemented TDOMF to directly support these kind of non-standard uses of Wordpress. Why aren’t they using TDOMF, I muse? If TDOMF is missing something, I can add it (or at least add it to my ever expanding TODO list for TDOMF). Anyone any thoughts?

I just wanted to say thanks for the mini-forms. I am trying them out on a new project I am working on and so far so good. The project is kind of a “reverse” twitter, instead of people writing what they are doing or have done, this is an open access site where anyone can post what they see others doing. Mini-forms have been a big help in getting it set up. Here’s a link to the prototype:

I’ll let you know if anything comes of this.
