I have the Google XML Sitemaps plugin 3.1.2 running on WP 2.7.1 but for some reason the sitemap plugin will not see the posts created through one of my TDO mini forms. Any Ideas?

Hmmm. I’m using the same plugin same version right here and it is showing all the submissions by TDOMF: sitemap.xml

So i’m at a bit of a lost as to why it wouldn’t be the case on you’re site.

http://saywhat.poeticlabyrinth.com/sitemap.xml

The posts I create when logged in as admin show up if I create them using the normal wordpress interface but the ones I create through the form do not show up on the sitemap.

Have you contacted the author of Google XML Sitemaps plugin about this? Because I know very little about how that plugin works.

Are the posts, from the forms, being automatically published or are they all moderated?

I did try to contact the author of the plugin but no luck. My posts are moderated up to the first five from any member. But even when I submit one logged in as admin it still doesn’t show up on the XML sitemap. Just a strange bug I guess. I would be happy to give you an admin account to my site if you’d like to check my settings.

I’m not sure I’d be that much help. I don’t know much about how XML sitemap works. It’s pity you can’t contact the author, does the plugin have a support forum or possible post on WordPress.org?

I switched to the XML sitemaps plugin instead of the Google XML Sitemap plugin and it seems to work just fine. Thanks for the help though!!!

Ah cool. I’ll make a note of that – that there may be incompatibilities between TDOMF and the Google XML Sitemap plugin in the readme.

Mark, I confirm that there is a conflict with Google XML Sitemaps (3.1.6) and TDO mini forms (0.13.4). I have created a form and when I want to send the post, I have a page error :
Warning: fsockopen() [function.fsockopen]: unable to connect to submissions.ask.com:80 (Connection timed out) in /homez.187/sbfbttfr/www/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 1142

Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /www/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php:1142) in /homez.187/sbfbttfr/www/wp-content/plugins/tdo-mini-forms/tdomf-form-post.php on line 242
I will change for XML sitemaps too (like cartpauj).
