Is there a way to Make submissions private by default using tdo mini forms?

If not, is there a way to accomplish this with a third party plugin?

No currently. I had thought about creating a widget that would allow a submitter chose if a post is private or not and provide a password if they like or, potentially, set default private options. I can bump it up my TODO list and see if I can get it into the next release.

This would be a great feature. I am currently trying to do this with custom fields and conditional tags.

This would be great. I have searched and searched and cannot find a plugin that allows the role capability of a submitter or author to mark their own post private. It appears that only the administrator (or editor?) can do this. This would be an awesome feature for wordpress used as a CMS. If it could be used in tandem with paid subscription, say allowing this feature to a paid subscriber (two submitter forms, one for paid and one for everyone else), it would create a value added option to monetize a blog. The submitter could store his/her content and restrict access to themselves.

I was about to start a new topic asking the same thing.
I don’t know much about coding but I’ll help however I can!
