Did anyone else watch the Lunar Eclipse last night?
Cold and Stunning. We didn’t have a decent camera. Sophie’s camera’s batteries were dead. Bad timing. Still I tried to grab a photo with my (not as good) digital camera. This is the best shot and it doesn’t do it any justice.
Anyway, from our new house out here in Wicklow, we had an amazingly clear view of the moon and the whole cycle. We didn’t stand outside for the whole period but popped out every ten to twenty minutes. It made the transitions more dramatic and even more impressive. We were kind of surprised no-one else on the street came out to have a look or even a quick gander because it was such a great opportunity, normally when such things happen in Ireland, it is always cloudy.
